Lucian Lyssy, Sr.

Lucian L. Lyssy Sr., 82 of Lampasas, Texas died November 27, 2016 in an accident. Lucian was born January 8, 1934 in Falls City, TX the son of Felix Henry Lyssy and Rosie (Moczygamba) Lyssy. He grew up in Falls City and after High School graduation moved to San Antonio and began working for himself. He met Corky Richardson and began working for him on tile jobs. Lucian worked his way up in that company and was a superintendent. He married Lola Wallace, the love of his life. She preceded him in death in 2015. Lucian Sr. was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lampasas. Survivors are Daughter, Laverne Dach and husband Kevin of Belton Sons; Lucian Lyssy Jr. of Lampasas Danny Lyssy of San Antonio Grandchildren; Dustin, Lori, Edwin, Justin, Scott, Tessie, Tommy and Rebecca Great-grandchildren; Alex, Ethan, Addison, Emma, Rhyder and Madelyn Brothers; Raymond Lyssy and Paul Lyssy Sister, Dolly Mzyk Rosary will be recited Friday December 2, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Saturday December 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
