A.J. Reuther, 88 of Lampasas, Texas died October 27, 2016 at Georgetown, TX assisted living center. He was born February 5, 1928 in Lampasas County, the son of Arthur and Hulda (Zieschang) Reuther. Mr. Reuther married June Brandon on May 16, 1953.
He served in the U.S. Army and National Guard during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of Saratoga Masonic Lodge for over 50 years.
Mr. Reuther worked in the supply division at fort hood and retired from Civil Service after 30 years. After retirement he was a full time rancher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Lillie Mae Reuther and Edna Reuther Reagan.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, June Reuther and his son, Bradford (Brad) J. Reuther of Georgetown. Also by his niece, Brookie (Reagan) Wilder of Austin and nephew, James “Bo” Reagan of Ft. Collins, CO.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Saturday October 29, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at oak Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the charity of one’s choice.
