Emmitt Jackson

Emmitt Jackson, 92 of Lampasas, TX died September 13, 2016 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. Emmitt was born June 26, 1924 in Dobeyville, TX the son of Jasper Jackson and Belle (Insall) Jackson. Emmitt served in the U.S. Army as an infantryman. Later, he worked as a civil service employee, as a fork lift mechanic. He married Novellee Kenan, and she preceded him in death. Survivors include his son, Sturgis Jackson of Lampasas Granddaughter, Heide Jackson Great-grandchildren; Lucas, Krystal, Lauren, and Mya Emmitt was preceded in death by his wife, Novellee, and by several brothers and sisters. Visitation for Emmitt Jackson will be Friday, September 16, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
