Vivian Marie Martin Prine, 62 passed away at her home in Lampasas and went to be with the Lord on Friday July 29th surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 2nd at Faith Lutheran Church in Lampasas with Pastor Tim Oschner officiating. Vivian was born October 8, 1953 in San Angelo, Texas to J.D. and Betty Martin. She attended Angelo State University and began a career with GTE/Verizon, retiring after 25 years of service. She was the operator services manager in Stuttgart, Arkansas where she met and married her husband August 2, 1980. She was a founding member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Talladega, Alabama. She was very active in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stuttgart, Arkansas, and Faith Lutheran Church in Lampasas where she held many positions. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Betty Martin. Survivors include her husband, Eddie Son, Andy and wife Lisa Prine of Benton, Arkansas Daughter, Mary Michelle Langford and husband Michael of Joshua, Texas Sister, Leanora Morrison of Georgetown 8 grandchildren Vivian was a very loving wife, mother, MeMe and a good friend that will be greatly missed.
