Carol A. Van Stienburg

Carol Ann Van Stienburg, 75 of Lampasas, TX died Wednesday June 29, 2016 at Spring Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation. Carol was born March 13, 1941 in New Castle, PA the daughter of George Raymond Brown and Martha Mae (McCue) Brown. She married George H. “Dutch” Van Stienburg April 9, 1960. She served in the United States Army from March 1958 until July 1960. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lampasas. Carol enjoyed knitting and reading and family. Survivors include: husband, George H. Van Stienburg Daughter, Tina Souza and Eugene Sons; Howard Van Stienburg Warren Van Stienburg and Beverly 8 Grandchildren 2 Great-grandchildren Brother, Robert Brown Sister, Martha Chappel Carol was preceded in death by her a grandson and a great-granddaughter. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday July 6, 2016 at 10 am, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with military honors.
