Sylvia Morua

Sylvia C. Morua, 58 of Lampasas, TX died Monday June 20, 2016 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. Sylvia was born February 21, 1958 in Lampasas, TX the daughter of Trinidad Marez and Mary (Lopes) Marez. She graduated from Lampasas High School and later attended Central Texas College, where she studied Business Management. Sylvia worked as manager of Colortime for many years and was activity director for Lampasas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and most recently was a marketer for hospice agency. Sylvia coached softball for 13 years for the Aztecs, enjoyed fishing and hunting, gardening. Her pride and joy were her grandkids. Survivors include: husband, Paul Morua Jr. 2 sons; Eric Morua and wife Kristy Joshua Morua and fiancé Desta Brothers; Phillip, Alex, Rick and Ralph Marez Sisters; Belle, Loisa, Vera and Josie Grandchildren; Kandice, Kaiser, Ryker, Raider and Sophia Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents and by brothers; Will, Steve, Manuel and Tommy. Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. at ST. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lampasas. Mass will be conducted Thursday June 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.
