John Gacha

John M. Gacha, 64 of Kempner, TX died Monday June 20, 2016 at his home. John was born October 10, 1951 in Meshoppen, PA the son of Joseph Gacha and Ann (Truesdale) Gacha. He grew up in Pennsylvania and later served in the U.S. Army. He was an aircraft servicer at Wet Ft. Hood Airfield for many years. He married Faith Chapin. John was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He did volunteer work in his community and loved watching the Texas Rangers games. Survivors include: wife, Faith Gacha of Kempner Son, David Gacha of Kempner Daughter, Sara Reid of Morgan’s Point Resort Grandson, Caleb 3 brothers; Joseph, Gerry and Donald Gacha all of PA John was preceded in death by his parents and by sister, Sharon Gacha Altemose. Graveside service will be held Friday June 24, 2016 at Kempner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family asks that memorials be sent to American Cancer Society.
