Russell Jones

Russell Ulysses Jones, 69 of Lampasas, TX died Friday June 17, 2016 at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin. Russell was born October 27, 1946 in Lampasas, TX the son of Henry George Jones and Ruby Lee (Gilmore) Jones. He grew up in Lampasas and later attended The University of Texas at Austin for one year. He served in the USMC during Vietnam. Russell started his own company, Russell Jones Electric Inc. in 1977. He was an electrical contractor in Austin and Central Texas for many years. He loved his family ranch, being outdoors with friends, hunting in South Texas. Survivors include his wife, Terry Jones Son, Richard Jones and fiance’, Patsy Gabriel Grandchildren; Alexandria Jones and Dustin Jones Daughter, Michele Jones Snow Grandchildren; Christopher Snow and Holly Smith Brother, Wendell Jones Sister, Donna Williams Mitch Ramon Step daughter, Michelle Lee Raymond and Brendon Their children; Andrew, Grace and Aidan Russell was preceded in death by his parents and by an infant brother, Damien. Visitation will be Wednesday June 22, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. A private burial will be held at a later date.
