Morris Vann

Glenn Morris Vann, 89 of Lampasas, TX died Tuesday evening May 17, 2016 at a local nursing home. Morris was born April 30, 1927 ini Lampasas County, TX the son of Everett Vann and Ruth (Bodenhammer) Vann. He graduated from Lampasas High School where he served as class President. He served in the U.S. Army near the end of WWII in Germany and Holland. Morris was a lifelong resident of the area, and a member of the Baptist Church. Ranching was his career and his life. He served on the Board of Directors with First Texas Bank for many years. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 Thursday May 19, 2016 at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Graveside funeral service will be conducted Friday May 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Naruna Cemetery. Survivors include wife, Nikki Vann Sons; Kirk Vann and wife Sue Kim Vann and wife Sherry Grandchildren; Logan Vann Tye Vann Chance Vann Morris was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence D. Vann and Frankie Vann and by sister, Emma Lou Pierce and by an infant brother.
