Jeneau R. Carroll

Jeneau Ruth Carroll, 85 of Lampasas, TX died Tuesday May 17, 2016 at Regal Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lampasas. Jeneau was born March 12, 1931 in Coolidge, TX the daughter of Enoch January and Eula (Groves) January. She was a homemaker and worked at a dry cleaner and was a cook at a hospital. She had lived in Houston most of her life and resided in Lampasas for the last 8 or 9 years. She married Thomas Earl Carroll and he preceded her in death in 2004. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 1 pm Wednesday May 18, 2016 at Sneed Funeral Chapel, funeral begins at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Groves Cemetery. Survivors include sons; Tommy Carroll of Crosby, TX and Donnie Carroll of Dayton, TX Sister, Connie Havins of Lampasas Brother, Ronnie January of Lampasas 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Jeneau was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, by brothers; E.J. January, Lavon January, Travis January, by sister, Irene, by 2 sons; Robert and Danny Carroll, by daughter, Donna Burnell, by sister-in-law, Deanie, by brothers-in-law; Woodrow Miller, Arnell Tomlinson, Dorman Havins, by niece, Kay Owens.
