Bevan Percell, 82 of Lampasas, TX died Friday April 8, 2016 at Spring Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Bevan was born May 26, 1933 in Bayfield, CO the son of Vincent Percell and Helen (Duvall) Percell. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Percell lived in McAllen, TX for 20 years before moving to Lampasas. He was a master gardener, a member of the VFW, and a member of Elks Lodge. He liked to fish and travel, and he loved birdhouses. He was a family man, and he loved his grandkids. Survivors include his wife, Marcia Percell of Lampasas Son, Jeff Wenger and wife Julene of Ft. Worth Daughters; Melissa deGraffenried and husband Finley of Lampasas Jorita Wuesthoff of St. Louis, MO Kristina Harwood of Denver, CO Brother, Neal Percell of Denver, CO Sisters; Judy Buford and Carol Anderson Grandchildren; Conner deGraffenried, Seamus deGraffenried, Alexander Wuesthoff, Victoria Wuesthoff, Katheryn Wuesthoff, Cody Larson, Jake Larson, and Sydney Harwood Mr. Percell’s body was cremated. His remains will be placed at the veteran’s cemetery near Mission, TX at a later date. Memorials may be sent to the Friends of Lampasas Animal Shelter.
