Jack Steeley

Jack Eugene Steeley, 82, died March 23, 2016 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas. Graveside services will be held March 28 at 10 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Sneed Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements. Mr. Steeley was born in Hulbert, Okla., to Albert and Thelma Steeley. He grew up in Tahlequah, Okla. He served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Marie Steeley; daughter Tonda Richison and husband Bobby of Bristow, Okla.; son Gene Rohde of Pryor, Oklahoma; Gail Bell of Lampasas; sister Rowena Qualls and husband Jerry of Tahlequah, Okla.; grandchildren Cody Richison, Chelsea Richison, Christopher Rohde, Derrek and Colleen Eckermann, Heath and Brandy Eckermann, Brandi and Josh Watkins, Ryane and Russell Jacks, and Cody Bell; and numerous great-grandchildren. Mr. Steeley was preceded in death by his sister, Vontreba Burns; a brother, Lesley Steeley; and daughter Tammy Rohde.
