Carol Poole

Carol Jean Poole, 81 of Lampasas, TX died March 14, 2016 at Lampasas Nursing and Rehab Center. Carol was born June 27, 1934 in Port Arthur, TX the daughter of Floyd C. Johnson and Lucille May (Wilson) Johnson. She married Thomas Arden Poole in 1950, and the couple has lived in Lampasas ever since. Carol was a homemaker, but she also worked for a local sewing factory and Western Auto for a number of years. Survivors include her husband, Arden Poole of Lampasas Sons, Jeff Poole and Sandra of Lampasas Steve Poole of Lampasas Bill Poole and Susan of Georgetown Brother, Gary Johnson of Roanoke, VA Sister, Marilyn Johnson of Chesapeake, VA 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren Carol was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amy Poole. A viewing will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Nix Cemetery.
