Billie M. Patterson

Billie M. Patterson, 91 of Lampasas, TX died Friday January 15, 2016 at home. Billie was born February 26, 1924 in Milam County, TX the daughter of William David Young and Mamie Lucille (Smith) Young. She married Earl Snow May 7, 1943 and he preceded her in death in February of 1969. She later married Wendell Patterson and he also preceded her in death. Billie worked for Hammett and Lynch a number of years and later was office manager and secretary-treasurer for Lampasas Federal Savings and Loan for 27 years. Billie was a member of Central Christian Church, where she was a part of Christian Women Fellowship and served as deaconess. She also served on the board of directors for Lampasas Public Library and was a member of Professional Women’s Club. Survivors include daughter, Connie Muegge Son, Richard Snow and wife Maggie Grandchildren; Amy Leigh Painter, Lisa Beth Waddington, Deana Wood, David Earl Lancaster Sisters; Mabelene Brown and Gloria Young Several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Billie was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Snow. Visitation will be Monday January 18, 2016 at 9 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral service begins at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
