Gordon Cunningham Sr.

Gordon L. Cunningham, Sr. of Lampasas, died October 22, 2015 at Seton Harker Heights. He was born April 23, 1921 in San Antonio, TX. He survived WWII and Vietnam and was retired Army. He lived in Lampasas and Bend since he retired after 29 years of service as a Colonel. He was a Godly man. Survivors include sons, Gordon Cunningham, Jr. William Cunningham and wife Susann Daughter, Helen Wernette And many grandchildren He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Marion, and his brothers, Jack, Ray and Russell. His body was cremated and will be placed in a columbarium with his wife at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Sneed Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements
