Ted Ray

Ted Dalton Ray, age 87 of Lampasas, Texas died Wednesday October 14, 2015 at the VA Hospital in Temple. Ted was born September 17, 1928 in Stanton, Texas the son of Sherman D. Ray and Beulah May (Foy) Ray. Ted served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He loved fishing and spending time with his grandkids. He had lived in Lampasas all of his life. He married Nell Lindsey August 16, 1958 in Burnet, TX. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years, working for local contractors. Survivors include wife: Nell Ray of Lampasas Son: Johnny Lloyd and wife Nita of Palacious Daughter: Beverly Bennett and husband John of Lampasas Brother: George H. Ray and wife Margie of Elgin Sister in law: Juanita Ray of Lampasas 7 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren And numerous nieces and nephews Ted was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Keith Ray, his sister Betty Ray, and by his great-granddaughter Lindsey Wholaver.
