Harold Lavon Harvey, 75 of Lampasas, TX died Sunday September 27, 2015 at Regal Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lampasas. Harold was born September 29, 1939 in Prentiss, MS the son of Curtis Laffette Harvey and Martha Carolyn (Greene) Harvey. He completed High School and began a military career in the U.S. Army. He served many duty stations during the Vietnam War. He married Rose Valadez and lived in Lampasas for many years. After retirement he drove a bus for Greyhound and owned and operated a trucking company. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the VFW.
Survivors are his wife, Rose Harvey of Lampasas
sons; Mark Harvey of Kentucky, John Harvey of Cameron, TX, Herman Barrera Jr. of Aquilla, Vale Barrera and Albert Barrera both of CO.
Daughters; Brenda Harvey of FLA, Kerstin Hennrken-Appel of Germany, Cindy Hall of Lampasas and Marcie Silba of Woodway.

Visitation will be Thursday October 1, 2015 from 5-7 pm at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Graveside funeral service with full military honors will be Friday October 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
