Levi Garrett

Larry “Levi” Garrett, 65 of Lampasas, TX died Monday September 7, 2015 at his home. Levi was born March 4, 1950 in Roswell, NM the son of Maurice Fredrick Garrett and Dorothy Margaret (Ferguson) Garrett. Levi was a cowboy, and he trained race horses. He also worked as a plumber. He was an avid reader, painter, story teller, cook, and artist. He loved his family and friends. Survivors are his wife, Janie Garrett of Lampasas Mother, Dorothy Garrett of Lampasas Sons; D.J. Garrett, Bill Maceyra and wife Andrea, and Chris Maceyra and wife Stephanie, and Cassidy Maceyra Daughter, Jeanie Arce Brothers, Wayne Weibe and wife Yvonne of Australia Philip Garrett and wife Teresa of Lampasas Sisters; Melva Garrett Campbell and husband Robert of Lampasas Melanie Jarboe and husband Brandtn of Lampasas Grandchildren; Leslie, Britney, Harleigh, Ryane, Myles, Milo, and Nate And numerous nieces and nephews Levi was preceded in death by his father, Fred, and his brother, David Garrett. Visitation will be Thursday September 10, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be Friday September 11, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lampasas. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
