Randy Sargent

Randy Gale Sargent, 66 of Briggs, died August 30, 2015 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. Randy was born February 9, 1949 in Pampa, Texas, the son of Winford Arnold Sargent and Debbie Rose (Munkress) Sargent. Randy grew up in the Houston area. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Randy loved driving tractors, playing chess, dominoes, and pool. He was a lifetime VFW member, and had lived in the area since 1982. Survivors are his wife, Wilma Sargent of Briggs Daughters, Tania Procter and husband Darran of Kempner Susan Sargent and Joseph Williams of Briggs Brothers, W.J. Sargent of Houston Homer Sargent of Houston Edward Sargent of Houston Sister, Karla Hale of Arizona Grandchildren; Reagan Procter, Sfrona Procter, Knoxon Procter, Isaiah Williams, and Matthew Williams Randy was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Jerry Lee Sargent. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Sneed Funeral Chapel. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Sneed Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements
