Bufard Carlile

William Bufard Carlile, 94 of Lampasas, TX died Monday August 24, 2015 at Rollins-Brook Community Hospital. He was born February 18, 1921 in Burnet County the son of John Carlile and Zula (Whitis) Carlile. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II, stationed in England as a medic. He was a Methodist, a long time rancher and farmer which he dearly loved. He attended schools at Ogles and Lometa. He married Opal Jordan December 27, 1944 and she preceded him in death in December 2002. Survivors include son, William Bufard Carlile Jr and wife Ritsuko Sisters; Elsiedean Boyd Verde Ola Henderson 2 grandsons; Billy Carlile III Travis Wiley 2 great-grandchildren; Britanny Nuckles and Jared Nuckles Numerous cousins and friends Bufard was preceded in death by his wife, by his daughter, Janie Wiley, by sister, Mozelle Lewis and by his granddaughter, Christy D. Nuckles. Visitation will be Wednesday August 26, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service is Thursday August 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
