Ruby Christine Clark, 92 of Lampasas, TX died Sunday August 23, 2015 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital. Ruby was born August 30, 1922 in Poplar Bluff, MO the daughter of Charlie Brown Hodge and Amanda Delana (Brown) Hodge. On February 27, 1937, Ruby married Irby Clark in Ft. Worth, TX. She was a member of the Adamsville Baptist Church. Ruby owned and operated a greenhouse in Ft. Worth. She loved her church family and prayed for all her family. She was a very dedicated prayer warrior. She sang in the choir and played solos on her harmonica. She loved worshipping her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Ruby was a Red-Hatter and a member of the Women’s Missionary Union. Survivors include her daughters, Chris Chapman and husband Ray of Kempner Doris Chapman of Kempner Carroll Wamsley of Adamsville 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 16 great-great grandchildren Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Irby D. Clark, 3 sisters, 4 brothers, 3 grandsons, and one great granddaughter. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Adamsville Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hines Chapel Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Adamsville Baptist Church.
