Billy G. Turner, 82 of Lampasas, TX died Saturday August 22, 2015 at his home. Billy was born December 24, 1932 in Holland, TX the son of Sidney Pesky Turner and Lusa (Eitz) Turner. He lived in Lampasas most of his life. He worked for Choc Gillen Army Surplus for 30 years. He loved fishing and taking his family to the Colorado River. Baxter, Barefoot and Lemon’s camp were some of his favorite spots. He loved his garden and could make some of the best pickles and canned goods around. He loved spending time with his family and friends and making homemade wine and beer.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, by his wife, Frances Turner, by Ima Dean Studdard, by sons; Roy Melton and Gary Studdard, by brothers; Jimmie, Hank and Ted Turner and by sister, Charlie Turner.
Visitation will be Tuesday August 25, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Graveside service will begin at 10 a.m.
Memorials may be given to the Oak Hill Cemetery Association.
