Oscar Michael Valadez, age 62 of Lampasas, TX died Sunday August 9, 2015 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital. Oscar was born April 26, 1953 in Lampasas, TX the son of Maximo C. Valadez and Eva (Alvarado) Valadez. Oscar worked for Glastron Boats as an upholsterer. He loved football, music, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Survivors include his parents, Maximo and Eva Valadez of California Brothers; Ruben Valadez of Lampasas Arthur Valadez of Mexico Miguel Valadez of Edcouch, TX Sisters; Rosa Harvey of Lampasas Christina Royal of Harker Heights Mercedes Billings of California Modesta Rubio of California Anna Morales of Harker Heights And numerous nieces and nephews Rosary will be recited Friday, August 14, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday August 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
