Barbara J Saegert

Barbara Jean Saegert, age 79 of Lampasas, TX died Wednesday July 29, 2015 at her home. Barbara was born June 14, 1936 in Winnsboro, TX the daughter of Charles Simmons and Mata Ruth (Corley) Simmons. After graduating high school and Business School, she married James D. Saegert. They were married 48 years. Barbara was a professional model for a number of years and later developed commercial real estate and owned and operated her own designer clothing boutique. Survivors include her husband, James D. (Jim) Saegert of Lampasas Daughter, Jamie Connell and husband Richard of Lampasas 2 grandchildren; Tyler Connell and Jordan Connell 2 sisters; Venita Williams of Arlington and Carolyn Pickle and husband Bobby of Greenville, TX Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and by her daughter, Tressie Hutchinson and by 2 grandchildren, Andrew and Grace, and by several aunts, uncles and other relatives. A memorial service will be held Wednesday August 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Lampasas.
