Gaynell Edmondson

Gaynell “Sunshine” Edmondson, 82 of Lometa, TX died Sunday July 19, 2015 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. Gaynell was born February 3, 1933 in Coryell County, the daughter of Jonce Edmondson and Willie Mae (Daggs) Edmondson. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and had lived in Lometa for the past 10 years. Survivors are her sons, Roland Burkes of Lometa Joe Thomas Burkes of Llano Daughters, Vera Staley of Llano Rosemary Maceyra of Temple Sister, Bonnie Faye McNeil of Lampasas 14 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren Gaynell was preceded in death by her son, James Robert Campbell, daughters Barbara Ann Burkes and Polly Ann Burkes, 3 brothers; Tommy Edmondson, William “Buck” Edmondson, and Robert Lloyd Edmondson, and by her sisters, Anita Adams, and Ora Lee Burkes. Viewing for Gaynell will be on Thursday July 23, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Her body will be cremated.
