Rolan Lynn Wallace, age 65 of Lampasas, TX died Thursday June 11, 2015 at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX. R.L. was born April 1, 1950 in Lometa, TX the son of John William Wallace and Sula (Crane) Wallace. He worked his way up in the oil field industry from entry level to a long career in safety management. He worked for Key Energy for 41 years. He lived mostly in Crane, TX and about 12 years in Midland, TX. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Crane, where he served as a deacon and Kelview Baptist in Midland. R.L. was also a member of the Optimist Club.

R.L. was preceded in death by his parents, and by a sister, Joyce Hawkins.
Visitation for R.L. Wallace will be on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Monday June 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lampasas. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
