Milly Lemaster

Milly Louise (Cook) Lemaster, age 87, passed away peacefully at her home in Bend, TX on May 28, 2015, surrounded by her family. Born on May 01, 1928 in Kempner, TX, to Amanda & Charlie Cook, Milly attended Lampasas Public Schools. On November 01, 1949, Milly married Lester H. Lemaster Milly was a longtime home maker where she lovingly raised her family. Milly was a member of the Kingdom Hall and will be always remembered for her love, kindness and compassion for others. She was always willing to help her family in times of need. Words can not express how deeply she will be missed by everyone who knew her. Milly is survived by her husband, Lester H. Lemaster of Bend, TX. Her children Sandra L. Curtis of Grand Blanc, MI; Sharon D. Kochan of Bend, TX; Howard N. Lemaster of Bend, TX; Edna I. Lemaster of Bend, TX; Gail L. Lemaster of Franklin, NC; Janet J. Ledger of Bend, TX; Joe C. Lemaster of Bend, TX; Dean R. Lemaster of Granite Shoals, TX; and Lester (Hal) H. Lemaster Jr. of Bend, TX. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren & 8 great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Edwin Cook of Killeen, TX and Joe Cook of Copperas Cove, TX; as well as 2 sisters, Janice Simpson of Lampasas, TX and Genevieve (BB) Kelley of Lampasas, TX. Milly was preceded in death by her daughter, Melva E. Burkett; as well as 4 infant children, 1 brother, Clifford Cook and 1 sister, Laverne Beavers. Also preceded in death was 1 granddaughter, Cindy L. Lemaster and 1 great great-granddaughter, Salena V. M. Correa. Services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday June 2, 2015 at Sneed Funeral Chapel at Third St and Chestnut in Lampasas, TX. Relatives and friends are welcome at 898 CR 430, San Saba, TX for a gathering after the service. Memorial contributions can be made to Lester Lemaster or Edna Lemaster.
