Narelene Faught

Narelene Faught, age 71 of Nix, TX died Saturday April 25, 2015 at home. Narelene was born August 1, 1943 in Lampasas, TX the daughter of Robert Winters and Letha (Landers) Winters. She grew up in San Angelo, TX and graduated High School there. Narelene married Douglas Faught in 1970 and worked for General Telephone for 11 years. She moved to Austin and worked for Southwestern Bell for 11 years and later worked for J.C. and Johnnie Ewing. Narelene then decided to keep babies and did so for many years. She loved quilting, fishing and shopping at dollar stores. She was a member of Naruna Baptist Church. Survivors include husband, Doug Faught of Nix 2 sons; Cody Faught and wife Desarae of Lampasas Cristen Faught of Lampasas 1 sister, Ferrell Dillard and husband Robert of San Angelo 3 grandchildren; Kenneth, Tyler and Rebecca She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation is scheduled for Monday evening April 27, 2015 from 6-7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday April 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Lampasas. Burial will follow at Naruna Cemetery. Family requests memorials to Naruna Baptist Church.
