Betty G. Lee

Betty G. Lee, age 89 of Lampasas, TX died Wednesday March 25, 2015 at her home. Betty was born December 6, 1925 in McAlister, OK the daughter of Wesley Grover Gentry and Haley Elizabeth (Deering) Gentry. Betty worked in various fabric shops in Killeen and Lampasas for over 20 years. She also spent several years working in the lunch rooms of local schools. Betty grew up in Oklahoma. She traveled with her husband, Glenn Lee Jr., during his tours in Germany. She was a member of First Baptist Church, and the Dorcas Sunday school class. Betty loved helping with Vacation Bible School and was passionate about missions. Survivors include her daughters, Cathy Chalkley and husband Randy of San Antonio Gayle Myers and husband Jim of Lometa Janet Propp and husband Jeff of Fall City, Oregon Brother, Walter Gentry of Spokane, Washington Sister in law, Betty Jo Gentry of Tulsa, Oklahoma 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Lee Jr. Betty’s body will be cremated. No services have been planned at this time. Memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church 402 S.
