Wilfred "Sonny" Kramm

Wilfred “Sonny” Kramm, age 80 of Lampasas county, Texas, died Thursday March 19, 2015 at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. Sonny was born on March 14, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Ernst Kramm and Linda (Meier) Kramm. He spent some time in Junction where he worked on a ranch. He graduated from High School in San Antonio and joined the United States Marine Corps. He was stationed in California and Okinawa. After four years in the Marines, he began a career in law enforcement. He worked his way up to Sergeant and retired from the Pasadena Police Department in April 1980. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, loved deer hunting, being outdoors, and taking care of the wildlife at home. He was an excellent domino and 42 player, and enjoyed visiting with family, friends and neighbors. Survivors include, wife of 47 years Loretta E. Kramm Four children; Robert Kramm (wife Janice) of Houston Cheryl Brake (husband Mike) of Alabama Cynthia Hamilton (husband Gordon) of League City Michael Kramm (wife Melinda) of League City Brother, Raymond Kramm (wife Barbara) of San Antonio Two sisters; Adeline Grisham of Fredericksburg Elaine Janszen (husband Fred) of San Antonio 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Sonny’s body will be cremated. A memorial is being planned by the family at a later date.
