Michael Don Allen

Michael Don Allen, age 60, of Doole, TX died February 23, 2015 at Mercy General Regional Medical Center in Manhattan, KS. He was born July 23, 1954 in Levelland, TX. His family later moved to Doole where he lived most of his adult life. As time permitted, (between hunting, fishing and trapping) Don worked as a ranch hand for many ranches around Doole. Don’s favorite pastime was playing his guitar and singing. In 2002 Don moved to Junction City, KS to be with his 2 brothers, Dale and Edward. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Marie, a brother, Edward and his wife Melba, a sister, Helen Irene Powell and her son Michael. Survivors include a sister, Ruby Jean Lewis and husband Bill of Lampasas, a brother Dale and wife Carla of Junction City, KS, as well as many nieces and nephews. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday March 3, 2015 at Stacy Cemetery near Doole, TX.
