Lura Rogula

Lura Neil Rogula, age 92 of Gatesville, TX died on February 16, 2015 at The Meadows Nursing Home in Gatesville. She was born in Metropolis, IL on May 2, 1922 the daughter of Ollie Catlett Jenkins and Amanda Helen (Nall) Jenkins. Lura loved singing at church, music was very important to her. She even baked goodies to give to others. Lura was a resident of Gatesville for more than 30 years and a member of the Gatesville Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughter Vicky Henry (Stan) of Dallas Brother, Lindle Jenkins of Lorena 7 Grandchildren: Lucas, Garth, Amanda, Stanton, Grant, Jenny, and Hayley 8 Great Grandchildren Mrs. Rogula was preceded in death by her husband Charles Henry Rogula, 2 daughters Shara Lee Marks and Verna Lou Smith, 1 sister, and 2 brothers. A funeral service will be held Thursday February 19, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Gatesville Church of Christ with Lloyd Hall officiating. Burial will be Saturday February 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Colorado Springs, CO. Those wishing to make memorials may do so to Gatesville Church of Christ.
