Levada Ryan

Levada Covington Ryan, age 96 of Lampasas, TX died on February 17, 2015 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple. She was born in Richland Parish, LA on December 18, 1918 the daughter of Willie Niel Covington and Cora Geneva (Smith) Covington. Levada worked as a registered nurse for a number of years. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Kennedy and the First Baptist Church Lampasas. Levada had been a resident of Lampasas since 1982. She is survived by her grandsons: Allen Rundzieher (Jeannie) of Liberty Hill William Rundzieher (Dee) of Burnet Brothers: Bill Covington and Pat Covington Sisters: Hazel Lee Nunnally of Arkansas Mary Frances Abrams of Henderson Great grandchildren: Christina, Ashley, James, Ryan, Ben, and William Mrs. Ryan was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Ryan, her son James Ryan, her daughter Marilyn Rundzieher, and by Herman, Jack, Marcus, Katie, and Annie Jane. A visitation will be held Sunday February 22, 2015 from 4-6 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held Monday February 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church. Burial will also be Monday February 23, 2015 at 4 p.m. at Choate Cemetery in Choate, TX. Those wishing to make memorials may do so to the nursing home of their choice.
