Raymond Aguirre, Sr., 70, of Rogers, Arkansas, died Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, Arkansas. He was born April 1, 1944 in Lampasas, Texas to Frank DeLeon and Martha Castello Aguirre. Raymond enjoyed shopping, taking mini vacations, and the people he worked with as well as the customers he met over the years working at Harp’s. He was always jovial and loved children. Raymond served on Lampasas Volunteer Fire Department, was amember of Knights of Columbus and Jaycees, He retired from HEB in Lampasas and had lived in Lampasas most of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Martha Aguirre, by sister, Lucia Curiel. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, of the home; two children, Raymond Aguirre, Jr. and wife Jhyldyz (Star) and Martha Ann Kirwan both of Copperas Cove, Texas, 2 brothers, Marcelino Aguirre of Tucson, Arizona and Carlos Aguirre of San Angelo; four sisters, Benita Maldonado, Mary Brown, and Ramona Achord and husband Richard all of Lampasas, Frances Lawrence and husband Edward of Kempner, Texas; six grandchildren
Rosary will be recited Thursday February 12, 2015 at 6:00 p.m at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Friday February 13, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lampasas. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
