Christopher Hernandez

Christopher Cortez Hernandez, age 39 of Lampasas, TX died Thursday January 8, 2015 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, TX. Christopher was born April 9, 1975 in Lampasas, the son of Manuel DeLeon and Mary (Cortez) DeLeon. He worked as a plumber’s assistant and a mason’s assistant. Christopher loved to cook and make people laugh. He lived in Lampasas all his life and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Survivors included his brothers, Nick Hernandez of Burnet Rudy Rodriguez of Lampasas Sisters, Maryann DeLeon of Lampasas Julie Santa Maria of Lampasas Nieces and nephews: Jeslin Santa Maria, Julian Barrientos, Nick Cruz Hernandez, Mekayla Rose Hernandez, Luxie Rodriguez, Whisper Rodriguez, Lazarus Salazar, Eilaine Calvillo, Zach Rodriguez, and Ethan Rodriguez. A rosary for Mr. Hernandez will be held Wednesday January 14, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. His body is to be cremated.
