Kenneth Elton Koon

Kenneth Elton Koon, age 65 of Austin, TX died Thursday January1, 2015 at Seton Hospital. Ken was born October 30, 1949 in Austin, the son of Roy A. Koon Sr. and Louise (Taylor) Koon. He graduated from McCallum High School. He had worked for Home Lumber Company in Austin for over 30 years. Ken was a member of Hyde Park Baptist Church. Ken had worked as a mechanic for Dart Bowl for many years. He also had the distinction to have bowled a perfect game in league play. Survivors included his brother, Roy A. Koon Jr. of Lampasas Niece, Stacye Walden and husband Chris of FLA Nephew, Joel Koon and wife Sonja of NC Great nieces and nephews; Ashley, Alexander, Amber and Andrew Numerous relatives and friends also survive. Ken was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Tuesday January 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Hyde Park Chapel. Funeral services for Kenneth Koon will be Tuesday January 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Hyde Park Baptist Church Chapel in Austin and burial will follow at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville
