Mrs. Dorothy Mae Gotcher, age 84 of Watson, Texas died Wednesday December 10, 2014 at her home. Dorothy was born January 22, 1930 in Cross Plains, TX the daughter of William Frank Banks and Myrtle (Kirkpatrick) Banks. She grew up in Watson and attended school in Briggs, TX. She married Wesley Andrew Gotcher July 5, 1947 and they lived in Killeen, TX for over 50 years. Dorothy was a homemaker and ran a child day-care from her home for many years in Killeen. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Killeen and Watson Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughters; Laraine Smith of Killeen, Jeanie Smith and husband Ricky of Lampasas and Barbara Powell and husband Kevin of Terrell.
Sons; Lendel Gotcher of Watson and Rusty Gotcher and wife Cynthia of Georgetown.

12 grandchildren; Lesley Mather, Clinton Smith, Patty Whittington, Ryan Gotcher, Jake Gotcher, Caleb Meadows, Chelsea Foyt, Cory Smith, Colby Smith, Nikki Smith, Gregory Martin and Jessica Martin.
13 great-grandchildren; Tyler Whittington, Chandler Whittington, Connor Whittington, Marc Mather, Melissa Wilson, Kinley Meadows, Cobie Chandler, Paisley Smith, Riggin Smith, Conner McSpadden, Gavin Falls, Jake Falls, Bayne Martin
3 great-great-grandchildren; Dustin Wilson, Kaylee Wilson, Elijah Bermudez.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Wesley in 2007 and by her parents and by 3 brothers; Herschel, William F. Jr. and Johnny.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday December 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Watson Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday December 13 from 5-7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Watson Methodist Church.
