Joseph Eraste LaBauve Sr.

Joseph Eraste LaBauve Sr., age 73 passed away after an 8 year battle wit Multiple Myeloma on Dec 5, 2014 at is home in Lampasas, Texas. He was born in 1941 in Addis, Louisiana to the parents of Eraste and Juanita LaBauve. He married Rita Judith LeBlanc from Houma Louisiana in 1964 and had two sons; Joseph Eraste LaBauve Jr and Bill Jerome LaBauve. Joe Sr retired after a 35 year career with Shell Oil Company during which time he had the opportunity to live and work in Cameroon, Africa and Damascus, Syria. Joe Sr is survived by his wife Judy LeBlanc; two sons Joe and Bill; Mother in Law Olive LeBlanc; Sisters; Jeanne Hebert and Sue; and Brother Alden LaBauve. He was preceded in death by his parents Eraste and Juanita LaBauve and two brothers, Everett and Michael.
