Vallry Batiste, age 66 of Kempner, Texas died November 3, 2014 at her home. Vallry was born September 8, 1948 in New Orleans, Louisiana the daughter of Rayfield Palmer and Lenora Ellis. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Alton Batiste Sr. of Kempner Sons, Alton Batiste Jr. and Melvin Batiste Daughter, Britani Porter of Louisiana Mother, Lenora Ellis of New Orleans, Louisiana Brother, Rayfield Palmer of Louisiana Sisters in law, Rosemary Palmer and Delilah Milton of New Orleans, Louisiana Nieces, Ramari and Risha Palmer Nephews, Renic and Roan Palmer And a host of other relatives A visitation will be held on Friday November 14, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Kempner, with the funeral following at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 3 p.m.
