Larry Scevers

Larry W. Scevers, age 72 of Lampasas, TX passed away October 22, 2014 at his home. Larry was born August 27, 1942 in Brady, TX the son of Albert Washington Keith and Bessie Lorene Scevers. Larry was a teacher and a counselor for the LISD for many years. He had lived in Lampasas for the past 37 years. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Scevers of Lampasas Sisters; Jimmie Dee Jones and Jamye Jones of Belen, NM Daughter; Stacie Scevers Core of Lampasas Son-in-law, Adam Poe Grandson, Kade Core Son, Michael Scevers of Saginaw Daughter-in-law, Stephanie Scevers Grandson, Robert Scevers Granddaughter, Katie Scevers Daughter, Jamye Dee Jones Granddaughter, Jonsey Daughter, Russann Hankins of Lampasas Son-in-law, Mike Hankins Grandson, Jace Hankins Granddaughter, Katlynn Hankins He was preceded in death by his parents and by his mother and father in law, J.D. and Iris Walker. Funeral services for Larry Scevers will be held Saturday October 25, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Comanche. Memorials can be made to the Kline Whitis Elementary School Library.
