Laura Lancaster

Laura Lee Lancaster, age 44 of Lometa, TX died September 7, 2014. Laura was born May 21, 1970 in Arlington, TX the daughter of Lee Wayne Sullenger and Lana Claude (Lancaster) Sullenger. She graduated as the salutatorian from Nacogdoches High School in 1988, and then went on to Texas A&M, where she graduated Magna Cum Lade in 1992. Laura earned a juris doctor degree from the University of Texas, where she graduated with honors. Laura was an exchange student to both Spain and the Czech Republic. She worked as an attorney for Baker Botts L.L.P. in Houston. She was a member of the Order of the Coif, Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and the Colonial Dames. She also served on the Texas Law Review. Survivors include her mother, Lana Sullenger of Lometa A rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Lometa.
