James Lloyd Singleton

James Lloyd Singleton, age 75 of Lampasas, TX died Wednesday July 23, 2014 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen, TX. Lloyd was born July 25, 1938 in Goldthwaite, TX the son of Julius L. Singleton and Marie (Henderson) Singleton. He graduated high school in Goldthwaite and ran the Toms route in Central Texas. He was a long haul truck driver owner-operator for many years. He enjoyed gardening, tinkering with machinery, hunting, fishing and cooking out. Survivors include his wife, Kassie Singleton of Lampasas Sons; James Singleton of Houston Byron Singleton of Austin Quinton Singleton of Killeen Daughter, Crystal Jackson of Copperas Cove Sister, Lanita Carroll of Brownwood Brother, Harvey Singleton of Cleburne Grandchildren; Dylon Singleton, Taryn Singleton, Skyler McKinney Great-grandchildren; Kali Martinez, Kash Martinez Lloyd was preceded in death by his daughter, Artie Rozene Nance and by his grandson, Michael Lance. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Singleton will be held on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday July 25, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
