Mary Ann Allen

Mary Ann Allen, age 76, died Monday July 14, 2014 at Springs Oaks Nursing ad Rehab. Mary was born August 7, 1937 in Terra Haute, Indiana, the daughter of Ralph Freeman Muncie and Lista Ann (Camp) Muncie. Mary worked as a nurse’s aid for some time. She loved listening to music and collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia. Mary spent most of her life in Terra Haute but spent the last 12 years of her life here in Lampasas. Survivors include her son, Elwood “Linny” Blair of Kentucky Daughter, Kandra Borders of Indiana Brother, Clarence Muncie of Indiana Sisters, Annabell Roth of Florida Pamela Brown of Indiana Mildred Smith (Dwight) of Lampasas Barbara Galbraith of Indiana As well as numerous nieces and nephews Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Hansel “Hank” L. Allen. A memorial service for Mrs. Allen will be set at a later date in Terra Haute, IN. Her body was cremated.
