Frank Julian Medina

Frank Julian Medina, age 74 of Lampasas, TX died June 19, 2014 at his home. Frank was born January 9, 1940 in Lampasas, TX the son of Mike Medina and Margaret Medina. Frank grew up in Lampasas and attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and Lampasas public schools. He married Nora Sherry Barrera and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lampasas, where he belonged to Knights of Columbus. Frank retired from Texas Department of Transportation Maintenance and Engineers office. He and his family own and operate Medina’s Mexican Restaurant, a local fixture in Lampasas. Frank is survived by his wife, Sherry Medina of Lampasas Son, Fernando Medina of Bridgeport, TX Father, Mike Medina of Lampasas Brother, Raymond Medina of Lampasas 4 sisters; Emily Young, Sally Dimas and Vicky Franco all of Lampasas And Dolores Medina of Houston 4 grandchildren; Jared Medina, JJ Medina, Micah Medina and Frankie Medina Frank was preceded in death by his son, Michael P. Medina and by his mother Margaret Medina, by sister, Margaret Duarte and by his father-in-law, Fidel Barrera. Rosary will be recited Sunday June 22, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday June 23, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lampasas with Father Pedro Castillo officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
