Phyllis Smith, age 65 of Lampasas, TX died Monday, May 26, 2014 at Rollins-Brook Hospital in Lampasas. Phyllis was born June 17, 1948 in Perryville, Maryland the daughter of James Dillon Stone and Jane (Thirlwell) Stone. Phyllis was a homemaker. She married Hansford B. Smith in 2003 in Elko, NV, and was given in marriage by legendary musician, Hank Thompson. She was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed country music, dancing, doing yard work, and animals. Survivors include her husband, Hansford B. Smith of Lampasas 1 son 2 daughters Brothers: James D. Stone Jr. of DeLand, FL David A. Lee of DeLand, FL 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren Funeral services for Phyllis Smith will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
