Funeral services for George Edward Cazier, 72 of Lampasas, TX are May 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas, TX.
Mr. Cazier died May 22, 2014 at Lampasas Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born January 11, 1942 in Wallace, ID the son of George G. and Margaret Jose Cazier.
He married Louise M. Adams on April 15, 1966 in Austin, TX. Mr. Cazier graduated high school in Livingston, MT and then joined the Air Force in 1960 where he served until 1967. After leaving the Air Force he joined the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 529 out of Waco, TX where he was an active member until his retirement in 2004.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife of Lampasas; a daughter, Sherry K. and her husband Randy Doggett of Lampasas, TX; a son, Michael W. Cazier and LaTresha of Stayton, OR. A brother, Clint Cazier and wife Sharon of Helena, MT; two sisters and their husbands, Cathy and Ray Heisler of Great Fall, MT and Ann and Bill McIntyre of Conrad, MT; a sister in law, Mary Lynn Cazier of Hondo, TX; two granddaughters, Mashele and Katie Cazier of Salem, OR; two grandsons, Tyler and wife Lindsey Willie, and Brandon Willie, both of Copperas Cove, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry and Stephen.
