John Rhymes

John Eugene Rhymes, age 44 of Lampasas, TX died Saturday May 10, 2014 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. John was born September 20, 1969 in Abilene, TX the son of James Willard Rhymes and Shirley Ann (Garner) Rhymes. John worked in construction. He lived in Lampasas for most of his life. Survivors include wife, Jennifer Rhymes of Lampasas Brothers: James Rhymes of Lampasas Jesse Rhymes and wife Carla of Burnet Sisters: Carolyn Rhymes of Lampasas Lena Biddy and husband Clarence of Lampasas Dora Pickens and husband Dennis of Lampasas Pricilla West and husband JC of Lampasas Sylvania West of Lampasas Numerous nieces and nephews John was preceded in death by his father, James Willard Rhymes, his sister, Helen Elizabeth Castleberry, and by his brother, Donnie Rhymes. A graveside funeral service for John Rhymes will be held on Wednesday May 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.
