Clarence Allen Powell

Clarence Allen Powell, age 65 of Lampasas, TX died Sunday May 4, 2014 at Rollins-Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas. He was born July 15, 1948 in Lampasas, TX the son of John Andrew Powell and Lena Mae (Hale) Powell. Clarence was a truck driver. He grew up in Lampasas, but spent most of his life in Wheaton, Illinois.   Survivors include fiancée, Cynthia Richardson of Lampasas Sons, Curtis Powell and wife Amanda of Brownwood Tony Hutchison and wife Mitzi of Abilene Daughter, Kimberly Lewis and husband Walter of Brownwood Brothers, Charlie Powell of Lampasas Robert Powell of Killeen Melvin Powell and wife Bertie of Brownwood J.R. Powell of Lampasas Ray Powell of Austin Sisters, Jo Hamilton of Lampasas Joyce Goode and husband Fulton of Killeen Debbie Morin of Lampasas Numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends   Clarence was preceded in death by infant brothers, Bobby and Samuel, infant sister Betty, one brother in law, and one sister in law.   Funeral services for Mr. Powell will be held on Thursday May 8, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Cremation will follow.
