Floyd E. Randall

Mr. Floyd Edward “Pete” Randall, age 97, of Lampasas, TX died Monday April 7, 2014 at the William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home in Temple, TX. Pete was born October 6, 1916 in Lampasas County, TX the son of A.G. Randall and Mary Hudson (Atkinson) Randall. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Pete was a farmer and rancher in the community for many years. He had also worked for large construction contractors earlier in his career. He was a member of the Burnet V.F. W.   Survivors are brother, Kenneth Randall of Adamsville Sisters; Patsy Baker of Lampasas Martha Bryant of Goldthwaite Stella Ferrell of Conroe 4 nieces; Debbie Lindsey, Camille Plagens, Linda Porter and Judy Franks 6 nephews; Brice Eddy, Jim Eddy, Leland Wooldridge, Vernon Baker, Randy Ferrell and Albert Randall   Pete was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Mattie Eddy, Ethel Carter and Udell Wooldrige and by one brother, Earnest Randall.   Funeral services for Pete Randall will be held Thursday April 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday April 9, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel.   Memorials may be given to the charity of one’s choice.
