Connie Harrison

Mrs. Connie Diane Harrison, age 59 of Temple, TX (formerly of Lampasas, TX) died Thursday April 3, 2014 at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple. Connie was born July 14, 1954 in Burnet, TX the daughter of James Arville Cummins and Billie Louise (Edmondson) Cummins. She married Jerry D. Harrison November 16, 1985. Connie grew up mostly in Lampasas and graduated high school here. She earned an Associate degree from Central Texas College and was a hairdresser for several years. She had also worked at the San Saba State School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lampasas and was attending Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church in Temple.   Survivors are husband, Jerry Harrison of Temple. Daughter, McKenzie Marek and husband Kyle of Academy. Son, Jason Harrison of Temple. Aunt, Shirley Miller of Hearne.   Connie was preceded in death by her parents and by 2 sisters; Kathy Hareris and Janyce Reeves.   Funeral services for Connie Harrison will be held Saturday April 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lampasas. Burial will follow at Nix Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday April 4, 2014 from 6-8 at Sneed Funeral Chapel.   Memorials may be sent to Susan G Komen Foundation.
